I’m using migration assistant to move stuff to my new Mac from old… is it smart enough to handle Dropbox gracefully? I can’t see how it could be… I suspect I’m going to end up with some weird synch issues and will need to delete and sync directly from Dropbox 🧐

This is only my second Mac and I don’t know how well this works. I strongly suspect I’ll end up with 2 Dropbox folders 😬

Having just setup my new Mac (first in 5 years) I found there is no silicon support from Dropbox. So the sync may be helpful in getting your files as there’s no (native) way to do it until early next year.

Yea. I'm sure there's some hacky way to make it work but no official support until then. "Fun" thing to stumble on last week.

Can you at least sync the files even if the app doesn’t work? Like using the web api or something?

I'm sure there is but I can't help you because I gave up once I found out there's no dropbox native support -- I only sync relatively sensitive data from dropbox and I wouldn't trust anything third party.
