I don't actually have strong opinions. The main difficulty is that the lineage of culture and incentive from the crypto space is very clear and the discourse is more about grandiosity, grift, and delusion than the actual technology.
It's like being a farmer who's trying to learn about marijuana as a prospective agricultural product from people who can only talk about how high they are.
Not just that, but everyone is obsessing about how high they are, and meanwhile the paper and textile industries have this huge untapped market potential that the farmer has no way to discover, bc the buyers for those businesses dont want to associate with a bunch of stoners.
ok that's just the farmer being lazy and letting the noise distract him... the "paper and textile" type potential is a google search away and the farmer unwilling to penetrated the hype-fud kinda deserves to be left out of those markets...
