No wonder I feel no personal attachment to the 90s. Everyone who made it in the 90s is at least slightly psycho.

Something like 9/11 was the only way that decade could have ended. If not that, an equivalent reality shock would have hit. And it was a proper blindside. Unlike Covid which felt like a grimly unsurprising inevitability.
