There is no third person in the sketch playing it straight and cueing the audience viewpoint
I guess the cue is the exaggeration of certain aspects that we’re supposed to find inane, but if so it’s very subtle. In the former it is extreme politeness and belaboring of obvious points. In the latter it is extreme swearing and over-the-top serious reactions to trivial shit.
