Do you have a speculative, hard-to-classify but well-scoped project you’re doing on your own time/dime, for which you have no clear line of sight to making money with?
So not hobbies and not things with known roadmaps to $ like books, courses, games, or SaaS product prototypes.

I've been reading and writing about microeconomics, cognitive science, mental models, neurology, metaphysics of morality, and a bunch of random.
I've no clue why I'm doing it, except for the fact that I get to learn a lot.

I've been mulling over how to create a framework for a Glass Bead Game. I have no idea whether the frame is right and/or if this is a wild goose chase (screenshot of gdoc below), but it definitely does help me in crafting my personal philosophy... I'd love thoughts at all levels.

Actually Good™️ visual component inheritance system so that I can finally have an Actually Good™️ no-code, drag and drop product / UI builder. Huge project. No real path to $ because the abstraction is 90% of the value, and once it’s made anyone can copy.

I'd disagree that there is no value here. A component builder for the enterprise would be a great complement to Storybook. And if people start using it....open-source businesses are quite fundable these days.
