The idea of using a calendar as a todo list is growing on me. But I can’t because my moods are not predictable enough.

Otoh, that’s a snowflake attitude 🤔

It is, it's called 😁
I was spending much if my time organizing/rearranging tasks manually within Asana depending on the day and what I was in the mood for, but Motion does it for me now with a simple "snooze" or "recalculate" button.

Email as a to-do list (populated with emails from my calendar) has served me well for years.
Bullet journal was good when I was overwhelmed with lots of async tasks.
But email is "Lindy," as the hip cats say.

Can agree with this as well. I typically won't know what I feel like doing for work until the day begins. Motion has worked for me because if I don't feel like doing a certain type of work, I can simply push it back by "snoozing" it for later. Or simply recalculate the next day.

Usage of calendar as a todo list is a relic from agriculture. We have evolved to multitasking and microslicing the time and use it accordingly our brain has grown beyond calendar now. We are agile in our thinking and deliver in incremental iterations, successful have done it.

Your moods will start to adapt to the calendar and become pretty predictable. Consistency can really start to determine your mental state and help harness your emotions.
