Hypothesis: few people actually *want* a full-blown community past about 25. They just think they do. It’s a lot of time and work to be involved in “community” in the sense of shared beyond-family communal daily life (meals etc) and weekly parties, seeing friends everyday etc.

These takes are so off-base. For a “10X Engineer” claiming objectivity and introversion (per your bio) you sure are pretty emotional and subjective in how you cast these broad generalizations.

Read your bio, not a buffoon. Missed the reference. Apologies on that. Your entire tweetstorm stands on shaky ground—just because there is spotty anecdotal evidence of a local trend does not make it grounds for a polemic on how one should live, especially in a pandemic.
