I am guessing that this from 's review is backstory to Husserl's stuff on internal time consciousness, which then heavily influenced Heidegger (ergo Being and *Time*). About Bergson I know nosink, but from glancing at his wiki page it seems like I should read up!

Yeah, there’s a fairly direct line of development from Bergson and Husserl to Heidegger to Sartre. Complicated by fraught German-French relations. I have some passing comments on it in my book draft so far. Ernest Mach and Pierre Duhem fit in there too.
Yowza! Husserl->Heidegger->Sartre I knew (via Dreyfus initially) but Bergson is new to me.
I look forward to reading your book!
It’s interesting as history but from my limited scan, none of it is worth the deep dive effort for me. Bergson had some good points and he’s enjoyed a slight revival (Deleuze wrote a thing called Bergsonianism), but it’s just too dated and early. Easier to reinvent his wheels.
