Has a market for large-touchscreen devices emerged yet, beyond art installations and conference booths? I’d like a 48’ wall mounted touchscreen with audio input and just a browser. No bs smart tv apps.

Any interface that requires people to hold their arms out in front of them for extended periods of time is doomed. It’s one big reason Kinect-style gesture interfaces will only ever be niche.

Well, you can get them. They're made for booths and kiosks. I'd guess you might have to install your own software, but what do you want that's non-standard? If you can run Windows or Linux on it, aren't you basically sorted?
