I sometimes wonder where all these specialized machines come from. I bet there’s a couple of towns in Germany, Italy, and Japan, each with a dozen old guys who design 90% of these things 🤔

I did some pneumatic automation work for Essel Propack in India that did exactly this for every Unilever,J&J and P&G product sold in a plastic tube there. It's more common than you think.

I won a scholarship to an engineering technology camp in HS. While I didn't pursue that field, it did give me perspective about how things are made. We toured the Dodge Neon factory + other places I can't remember rn. ETs are the ones who transform engineering plans into reality.
