There’s this frustrating period in learning language-like things where you’re semi-literate so you can mostly only see letters, the occasional word, the rare sentence, and almost never complete ideas.

Is it only "language-like" ? My youngest daughter has recently been frustrated at people just walking around, like she's the only one who can't.
Genuinely interested, thinking of Wittgenstein.

Using frustration as a signal to coach ourselves in improving at anything is about moving from conscious to unconscious, where language seems to “dissolve” (what is an “a” in the brain?). Walking is more than just a word. This part of many deep (reinforcement) learning experts.
