My experience of crimping network cables in the early 2000s is why I have 30mm plastered up holes through my house where I ran pre-crimped CAT 7. I refused to crimp anything.

I have no choice here for what I’m trying to do. The alternative is soldering wires, making the harness permanent ☹️
