Any transition metal halide with a bio-waste derived non-aqueous solvent.
I will boldly say the **only** reason lithium is on top right now is becuase of it's massive solvation(twitter thinks this not a word) radius

The solvation radius the proclivity of polar solvents (such as water) to form a 'shell' around an ion

(What I'm about to say is grossly oversimplified) In terms of Lithium-ions, small molecule (smol-ecule, lol) + big solvation radius means easy-peasy ionic conductivity– they can easily slip by other molecules, ie; move reversibly through a separator (see 'Ion Exchange')

*Ionic Transport, if you're a stickler about the mechanics embodied in today's Li-Ion batteries– but the disambiguation between transport/conduction becomes blurry once multi-modal mechanisms arise, such as in a biological cell– which are empirically better than our batteries
