I’m trundling along at 25mph in a 60mph zone

I live life in the fast lane, but I drive slow and make everybody go around me
This is a metaphor

I wonder why I’ve never felt the urge to move fast and get a lot more shit done. Now that time to do bigger things is starting to run low, I wish I’d learned to work harder when younger. My basic life mode is coasting/drifting. Except for rare bursts of enthusiasm.

I believe that the conventional wisdom is that sometimes, the faster it gets, the less you need to know, but that conversely the smarter it gets, the further it is going to go.

Don’t we all. Youth is wasted on the young, and it’s bizarre how much more you get done when you work hard while young.

You have to build your life's aerodynamic shell. Then you can go fast for low energy, as long as the grade isn't too steep. But yeah, down grade you can actually can pick up too much speed with your shell and crash horribly.

Think of yourself as a surfer.. floating in the ocean waiting for that one big wave.
You can't make the big wave happen.

One of the most effective methods for reducing congestion is to drive at a constant speed keeping at least 4-6 car-lengths of space between your car and the one in front.
Yes, race-drivers will cut in, but if they are that impatient, they will soon cut out again. :D

The gervais principle days were good for you… good for us all. Basically wakened us all up, some went Marxist, some started businesses, the rest checked out and found meaning elsewhere
