genuine indie managerial finance problems... whether it's worth making professionally produced books out of blogs/newsletters... I'm at the level of reach where the cost is a no-brainer for the top 30% of my material but it's not easy to tell whether a given idea is in the 30%

No brainer as in, even without a bump in sales expectations, the costs will easily be recouped and you'll have nicer book to show for it... and if it bumps up sales, upside grows

Thing is, regular production economics of a book assume a fairly strong marketing push, as in soliciting reviews, going on shows etc etc. This is definitely something I am reluctant to do beyond my own channels. True book-selling hustling is extraordinarily taxing relative to WoM
