Hypothesis: The trust level a team can sustain is almost entirely a function of recent win/loss record. The sweet spot is strongly win-biased but clearly short of 100%.

Are you bundling the terms “trust” and “confidence”? Trust is whether you think I’ll fuck you over. Confidence is whether you think I have the skills/competence.

Not sure how it would graph, but the distinction matters to your point. If you lose confidence in me, you can downscale the volume or complexity I’m responsible for on the next project. If you lose trust, we’re done.
