I’ve always felt “satoshi is/was an nsa employee/team” theory didn’t get enough play. Or some other country’s agency, though that seems very unlikely. It’s my lab-origin hypothesis about Bitcoin 🤣

In the world of cryptography almost all top minds always worked for spy agencies in their hey days of their career .. if they didn't work for them spy agencies know what they were working on anyways .. just leaving the obvious out here.. sometimes obvious is obfuscated

I always assumed it's a DARPA thing. If you want to prevent another World War.. with China on the rise.. you need to (most likely in connection with Chinese military) create an elaborate ruse surrounding a new stateless global storage of wealth.

Good evidence for this would be if the NSA had a large stash of Bitcoin. I suspect that institutionally they wouldn't be able to resist moving some of those original coins for some flexible, deniable cash.
