I bought a dremel but am not really developing a feel for the tool. I get intellectually that it’s high rpm low torque unlike a drill which is high toque low rpm, but intuitions feel… not off, but absent.
Suggestions for simple, cheap learning projects?

Cutting, engraving, sanding, polishing… good for small art projects with wood, plastic, light/soft metals, cutting PCBs etc.

harbor freight sells some cheap big dremel sets with lots of accessories that work with real dremels as well.

Something like this? And when do you use a dremel as a drill instead of a regular drill?
