It should considered science malpractice to use the phrases “science says...”
“scientists say...” is marginally acceptable so long as you go on to name names

Yes and same goes for "I believe in science" or "trust the science". I mean, belief and trust are not what science is about! You can trust that someone did the experiment they said they did, but even then you should replicate it before putting too much into the result.
