an analogy i love to use about emotions is 👇
imagine your body is an email address, and has an inbox
all these emotional emails are always coming through, and it's piling up in your inbox and you're running out of storage, except you can't see it
Conversation
we need an approach to:
1) gain visibility into the emails (identify emotions, sense their arrival);
2) then start reading our emotional emails (feel our feelings),
3) respond to them
4) and also start setting filters to clear spam

The strange thing about these emotional emails is that they interact with each other and are aware of each others' presence. They compete with each other to get to the top of your inbox to get their needs met
