Looking for solid AI/machine learning newsletters to subscribe to... not the business end... ones that keep up with the latest software frameworks, hardware, and application/modeling results and comment on emerging research results. Recos?

Newsletters aren't the best option imo (although Jack Clark's one is decent). I think the best way to hear about new developments is to look for blog posts people write following major conferences - "ten take-aways from NeurIPS" or similar.
