Finally actually reading Ivan Illich. It’s hard going for me tbh. Long passages of exhausting 60s style socialist sermonizing punctuated by the occasional novel insight. It’s like bizarro McLuhan. Net decent stuff but I don’t quite get the cult appeal.

Also finally reading Illich after a long while intending, starting, stopping. Began with Deschooling but picked up Tools of Conviviality a few days ago. Glad its not just me who is finding the writing a tad exhausting.
