I have at least 1 day a week where I lay around doing absolutely nothing and enjoy it. Actual downtime. This didn’t used to be the case. At one point downtime meant “active alternative activity.”
Does need some good TV to work. Right now I’m out of good shows.

New Girl and Frasier are excellent downtime shows. You can zone, pop back in and not have missed much in the way of plot.
What changed for you to enjoy downtime?

I'm experimenting with 1 day a week of working hard and the other 6 days downtime. Suspect that this way will let me get more things done. Will report back with results in a few months

Not current show but I've been really enjoying _Lucifer_ over past year. Funny, clever, light, wise, puts me in good mood, I watch it when I need that. I like scifi and have been making my way through _Expanse_ but though it is well done, overly dystopic shows sour my mood.
