Not quite cheating... more like blurring boundaries/definitions. Image stacking in astrophotography. Produces composite images that don’t correspond to a specific time. I haven’t yet learned this cheat because my computer is too weak to do it.

Image stacking is like saccades, but in time rather than space. Rather than flitting a high-res fovea around the scene and synthesizing a high res macro-image in the visual memory buffer, stacking puts a micro-memory into every pixel, to draw the line between signal and noise.
