I think China's structure works very well for China, but is minimally exportable and would break if forced to become multicultural. So I don't expect China to break ala the USSR but it will also never lead the world.

Instructive example of how state power can be wielded, but of no use to the west unless it delegitimises the totality of the prestige institutions, lest the form change while still carrying the burden of the useless ideological payload.
