The subtle jabs at racism rather than screaming racism makes it significantly different
Lupin is pretty decent fun. The French setting makes for a refreshing change from American, though so far no real difference in storytelling style.

It’s the international four star hotels with western breakfast and English speaking staff of streaming services. “Authentic”, as authentic is too exhausting - actual foreign movies are work, and I say that as a German struggling with many German movies.

@mubi is a brilliant service for the real international cineast. It is a streaming service and yet isn’t, as you cannot just leave your mind at the entrance - for better and for worse.
