Ted Dansen in Mr. Mayor. The guy has now been part of 4 distinct TV eras spanning 4 decades as a lead: Cheers, Becker, The Good Place, and now this. I never got his appeal. Clearly a workhorse. He’s an okay actor, but pretty unremarkable. Survival of the mediocre?
