The lurid ugliness of Q epistemology is obscured by its fantastical dissociative nature. These are people who fantasized for 4 years about mass arrests, hangings, military rule, and absolute control of communications. Who the hell *wants* these things?

I’m inclined to laugh at all the hilarious meltdowns going on in their forums... until I remember what they want to do. These are not funny people. They are dark and disturbed.

It’s a kind of naive adventurism, like teenage boys wishing they could go to war. They have a fantasy of a gallant and noble struggle, without any consideration of the horrific reality.

Distills the background hysteria humming beneath Karenist suburban worldviews. Fever dream logic melded from 'SVU', '24', 90's stranger danger, & Chick Tracts. The hypercompetent omnibenevolent security state good guys are a tell -- that's not a thing outside of tv and movies.
