Didn’t know this was a thing. I arrived at the idea independently after noticing big airliners on landing approach look like they’re moving very slowly, but are actually moving at 150+ mph. I can imagine few things more terrifying than being chased by an elephant in musth. In terms of running, where humans truly excel relative to other creatures is in endurance, not top speed.
