how come some writers are more bingeable than others, besides the most obvious factor of writing many things set in the same universe often with same lead characters? 🤔

By bingeable I mean if you read one thing by them, you want to read the next thing and the next thing, like episodes in a bingeable tv show. I don't mean "page turner" within a single book which I think is more tactical

I think bingeable here has to do with consistency and volume -- you have the experience once and you know that a similar version of the same experience is readily available. Plus probably an upper limit on how emotionally draining any one can be.
