Isn’t your over basically mechatronics?
I’ve been trying to think of fun little mechatronic inventions that are within my abilities to try and make, and I realized something: I don’t like pure automation ideas that simply reproduce+eliminate some human aboloty. I only really like machines that do things humans cannot.

I agree, I have had the privilege at
@PaRSystemsLLC to deliver some really cool solutions, nuclear handling, water jets, friction stir welding, that couldn't be done by a human. Not easy to do at home.
