Where would you put, eg, producers who associate but don't co-produce on here?
Eg, the Wordpress community exists now. It didn't 15 years ago. Lots of people make their livelihood through it. But not building one big thing like Wikipedia.
It still doesn't. Wordpress *developers* are a producer community, publishers are not really... they're more like a buyer community. We bitch and complain like customers about WordPress issues, we don't really produce together.
Haha yes from where I sit “the Wordpress community” self evidently refers to the developers :) because they are the ones talking about turpentine. so yes agree.
