Something weird I've noticed about the tent city homeless is they always try to hoard things. Whether it's stuff from their old life or new I'll never know. When I was homeless I always had just a backpack full of basically my computers, meds, and documents. Never understood it.
sudden big uptick in homeless mini-tent-city one block over from where I live... feels like somehow a large pile of crap furniture got dumped there, and the tents expanded to a couple of full blocks by the highway

I love that i can tweet you from my tent because i own a cellphone it totally makes up for the fact that no matter how much i work i am homeless. despite 30% of the people these tents being ""essential workers" we get to live in tents and shit on roads like this is India.
