oh yeah bosch is great i mostly can't deal with return to status quo after every episode shows (which is not bosch).
I like status-quo episodic fine, and good long arc too. What I don’t like is lazy bolted-on long arcs as a character motivation hack. Like Monk was mainly good episodic but had a tedious “solve wife murder” series arc. Castle had tedious Beckett mom murder arc. Those annoy me.
