This has definite vibe of Yeltsin on a tank. I think people without memories of such moments probably don’t get how much changed today. A false consciousness unraveling is never a trivial thing.

I'm a hardcore optimist, but there is also being tethered to reality. Now optimism looks more like "the fracture of the country will happen slowly and a minimum of violence"
