Currently taking a half-time break from Iain M. Banks and taking a second run at Charlie Stross Neptune’s Brood, which I quit the first time around, and sampling Kim Stanley Robinson for the first time via a short story collection.

The Red/Green/Blue Mars books in particular are astounding for their ideas and (literal) world(re)building. I'm about to take my fourth lap of them.
