I think @Conaw has basically absorbed and transcended all that thinking to first order, Roam digests all those things and goes well beyond...

oh tru i can't believe i forgot roam! do you know of any written histories specifically that cover even a few of these at once?

I once had a presentation that covered stuff up to around 2011-12 or so but lost it... afaik there's no history, but it probably wouldn't be too hard to construct one. But why do you need this? Seems like academic-historical interest.

yes definitely academic - historical interest, talk to a lot of people who are interested in one or two strands and i start insanely copy pasting one or two paragraphs from a bunch of different old articles until i've completely overwhelmed them - seems like one central history

would be of great interest and of great value
