wonder where my inbox zero energy went... 10y ago, I wouldn't mind wrangling inbox down to 0-10 range once a week. Now it takes me months and many things falling through the cracks to do so.

Fair enough, although I find that the two are related. Software should make things easier. The activation energy required to take certain actions is highly influenced by the design of the product. If you change your mind I'd be happy to share!
