remove all news articles from search results, return raw data or lightly annotated data only for most search queries instead. right now most search queries return a way too editorialized layer on top of the data you're looking for

Two ways
- Teach consumers to surf the web better.
- Teach creators to write for better discoverability.
Need to bridge the gap between intent and content.

I think search indexes and search engines need to get unbundled. A solid amount of the time, i’m performing a search to find something i found before. I don’t need an objective/global index for that, i need a subjective/local one.

Interface customizing - Google tries to search everything so needs to fit everything. Something like ListenNotes only needs to present podcast results so can be better fit to podcast search.
