IIRC, a *lot* of macro numbers are massaged heavily in China. Sometimes balancing under the hood can make it work.
But there are many potential shoes to drop.
I don’t grudge China it’s containment success or economic growth in 2020, but I can’t shake the feeling that the other shoe is about to drop somehow. It’s too coupled to the rest of the world for the story to be complete without a

I mean US (and arguably the world's) economy overall was doing much better than expected given the circumstances, so I'm not sure if there are any shoes to drop.
