I’m just tryna do me. I literally have no idea how anyone else does anything. Interesting aspect about finding community is in feeling less like I am an alien, but still realizing maybe half the people on earth are completely alien to me

The more horrifying black pill thought is that no two people can ever fully connect. We all live completely unique lives. Slowly becoming more unique as you accumulate new experiences. That makes new experiences more unique, which more uniquely changes you.

And we don’t even start out the same to begin with. Even identical twins that are born essentially as clones, will have their DNA slowly changed as they age. Identical twins become biologically less identical with age.

It’s such a hilariously “duh” idea to me now. I read Can You Hear Me Now? a year ago. I’ve finally finished what I started processing then. A few people I’ve shared it with have been curiously obstinate in considering the idea at all.
