We need a word like consumerization except for low code/no code evolution. I tend to adopt software/data tools when they’re low-code on the cusp of true no-code (spreadsheets as the benchmark). I’m rarely willing to write scripts/macros, but I’ll learn a few syntax conventions.

SQL is an interesting threshold. I’ve “learned” it a few times but forgotten it again quickly because it was never something I needed to use consistently. I think low-code ends where SQL and shell-scripts start.

Shortcutization as in I am always willing to learn from 2 to 12 shortcuts in new apps that make me a more powerful user (extends to special syntax for search too).
