From what I've gathered, you can actually watch those in Japanese, and people do (especially Looney Tunes and Simpsons)
yep and in Japan the word "anime" (a loan-word abbreviated from English "animation") is used to mean cartoons in general including American cartoons
p.s. I once watched an entire King of the Hill episode in the Japanese dub on youtube (the original dialog was subtitled but it was a classic episode anyway) and apparently for shows like that, they use a certain dialect for US southerners and such

Stylistically, Rick & Morty isn’t any different than Simpsons. Simpsons spawned King of the Hill, Futurama, Family Guy, and Rick & Morty. The American style. South Park is only different because of the construction paper aesthetic.
