Not sure about usage of word “premature” - in UK average age of ppl dying from Covid is at or above average life expectancy, with >80% suffering significant co-morbidities.
Also too early to interpret these death stats as gospel - we still don’t know how to clear sightedly measure this, given v high sensitivity of tests, age and co-morbidities of victims. Wait a few years for things to shake out, we can’t see the woods for the trees.
