Been meaning to extend my digital bookshelf for a while.
Finally got around to adding an anti-library – a collection of books I haven't read, but like the idea of having read: maggieappleton.com/antilibrary
Credit to for championing the concept on antilibrari.es

Hehe I’ve had a section for that for years. You gardener types are just catching on. ribbonfarm.com/now-reading/
Ha, I forgot about this page but love the top book recommendation. I now have to add "respectable dent" and "abandoned" as tags into the library.
Still figuring out where academic papers fit into the taxonomy as well... too numerous for the shelf metaphor.

I have papers/articles and videos broken out in the recommendations section. I sort by media type only if it makes it to recommended status. Otherwise time is the loose org axis for non gold sections

I feel like the Malkiel is a bigtime antilibrary one. if you dont read it by 25 you probably never will

Ahaha you're the OG Venkat (original gardener, honorary title alongside elderblogger). Avant-gardeners just out here trying to indoctrinate the next generation. Big fan of "respectable dent" 😆
