You notice when you have bad vs good posture physically (eg straight back vs slouching). What are your personal signs that you’re adopting bad vs good posture mentally? As evident in speech patterns/tics etc?
I'm not particularly good in more dynamic situations, so mostly I don't attempt anything serious in that mode. Like twitter arguments, just exit if it heads down that script-control route and I don't have the energy to try and open it up more. Improv yes, and rule is good there.

So modular, pattern-based rules good, rigid narrative bad. Do you test your clients’ mental flexibility along these lines, even if only implicitly? Sorry if this is too prying/boring

none of this is very conscious, pretty much autopilot, but this is the interpretation I have in hindsight of why I do what I do
