The longer I live here the more constitutionalism looks like a full-blown religion to ne. Not a metaphorical one. Literal.

And like all good religions we’re prone to schism, with sects galore each claiming to have the sole truth, excommunicating one another, and generally prone to losing the plot. It’s our heavily Protestant Dissenters heritage. But it eventually comes down to raw power plays
