NaNoWriMo next month! Might be good motivation but too bad no in-person write-ins. :( I've tried several times and something always comes up to derail me but this year is entirely derailed so hopefully it means that I will be able to dedicate myself this time.

That's fair. I'm not interested in the peer pressure part myself (too much of a loner to care about that), but I do get a nice motivational vibe from other people who are working on stuff but not necessarily talking to me. I like cafes and maker spaces for this reason.
