I’ve never had so many people try to get me to join an app as with clubhouse
It’s like the app is designed to catalyze a completist mop-up of everyone with any links to SV. Like a tech-rapture dragnet.
Meanwhile it appears invites are actually scarce outside SV circles?

This would be a humblebrag except I think it says a lot more about the app than about me. It reminds me of FriendFeed. There’s a whole history of apps that failed through overindexing on early adoption within tech. It’s like a low-CAC strategy trap or something.

I don’t plan on joining, so please stop inviting me. Live audio hangout is the exact opposite of my energy.

No opinion on it though obviously I’m not under a rock and I do see the Discourse radiation.

Noticing a lot of clubhouse hate in the comments. Just to be clear I’m not *against* the app or anything. Half my tech friends seem to be on it. It’s just not my speed. I wish it all successpic.twitter.com/qS6127GnNH
