When you turn to look at somebody in gallery view in zoom, the other people see you turning in a random direction depending on your camera. It would be nice to have real-time deep-faked gaze tracking/synthesis. That way if someone produces a brainfart the rest can stare at them.

It happens in sidebar chats though. I was on a zoom with 21 people and a creative director fell asleep on the call in close up. We all took screenshots and shared them around. He was never seen again after that call.

I was just thinking this today actually. I also wonder if there's a mode to enable people to know if you're actually paying attention or if you're actually working on something else. Kind of like "stay off your phones in this meeting" in the IRL context.
